What is NFACT?

NFACT is a coalition of the departments of agriculture from New Mexico, Florida, Arizona, California and Texas (NFACT). The coalition was formed in February 1999 to give the agricultural communities of the NFACT states greater recognition at the national level. In particular, the coalition has worked diligently to address issues of importance to specialty crops, livestock, poultry and aquaculture.

Abundant agricultural resources in the NFACT states supported $49 billion in cash receipts in 1999, representing 26 percent of the national total.

Who represents NFACT?

Commissioner Charles H. Bronson, Florida Dept. of Agriculture &
  Consumer Services
Director Donald Butler, Arizona Department of Agriculture
Secretary A. G. Kawamura, California Department of Food
